The Gameplay

The mechanics for Farm Heroes Saga are simple and easily manageable. It captures the same gameplay with both King’s Candy Crush Saga and Bubble Witch Saga but still offer unique features that make Farm Heroes Saga more distinctive. Much like your typical match gameplay, the objective is to match 3  or more tiles of the same color to remove them from the grid. The tiles in this game are basically referred to as the Cropsies (they are animated crops like carrots, onions, berries and many more). It is interesting to note that just like most King’s tile-matching puzzle, this game also comes with various objectives.

Some level will ask you to collect a certain amount of Cropsies while others will require you to collect flowers or deal with other special tiles.  What really makes the game more challenging is the fact that you are only given with a limited amount of moves. If you run out of moves, the game will come to a quick end and you have no other option but to start the same level until you managed to make it through. Will you be skillful enough to help the poor animals and collect the Cropsies to save the day?

Not Your Typical Match 3

Farm Heroes Saga is definitely not your typical match puzzles. It might look like your typical tile-matching puzzle but it’s definitely not. Here’s how it works. As soon as the game begins, it prompts you right away to the grid filled with colorful Cropsies. First thing you should know about Farm Heroes Saga is that the game doesn’t offer many power-ups. What you can only do is to transform your Cropsies to Super Cropsies. In order to do so, you must successfully match 4 adjacent tiles of the same color. The four identical tiles should form a square in order to transform a Cropsie into a Super Cropsie.

What a Super Cropsie can do? Super Cropsie allows you to collect cropsies of bigger value. Underneath each Cropsie is a numerical value that indicates the amount of Cropsies you can collect when matching them. If you matched 3 identical Cropsies from the grid and each of them has 2 numerical value, then matching them allows you to collect 6 target cropsies instantly. Super Cropsies tend to have a bigger value which can go up to 20. Interestingly, you can also boost Cropsies’ values by matching tiles next to them.

Other Noteworthy Features

Farm Heroes Saga definitely has so much to offer. It also features a Hero Mode which allows you to earn more prizes. Much like the Candy Crush Saga, the multiplayer function of Farm Heroes Saga comes with its leaderboard system.  Each level has a ranking system and a chart that displays all the top players. You have to connect the game to your Facebook account to access the score chart and to be able to view the current progress of your friends.

The ability to go back retry previous levels also provides the game incredible replay value. Players can also take advantage of the game’s Country Show where you can earn bigger prizes.
