Fortnite follows the common format for any battle royale games. Players are being deployed on a remote island where they have to battle for survival until only one of them remains alive. Interestingly, aside from the main goal to survive, Fortnite comes with multiple extra challenges that players can complete during their match. Now that Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3 just got started, we are also introduced to new exciting challenges. We are expecting to see more challenges to arrive in the next few weeks but for now, we have listed down some of the Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3 Challenges that are currently available for you. You might also consider completing them now before the next batch of challenges arrives.

fortnite chapter 2 season 3 challengesThe Weekly Map Challenges

Like the previous seasons, Season 3 comes with weekly challenges. These are optional challenges but completing them would be extremely beneficial. You can access the Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3 Challenges by heading to the Battle Pass hub. Tap the Map Challenges table from the hub to see the list of all available challenges for you. Currently, we are on Week 2 but just because you missed some challenges from the previous week doesn’t mean you can no longer access them. All challenges from Week 1 onward will still be accessible until the end of the season. So if you don’t want to be overwhelmed by too many challenges, you might consider completing them as early as you possibly can.

Weekly Map Challenges will vary in terms of their level of difficulties. Some challenges can be completed easily without engaging in a firefight while others require you to eliminate opponents. Challenges might include collecting items, exploring landmarks, eliminating enemies in various strategical ways, looting items, and many more. Some require you to complete the challenge on a single match while others can be taken in multiple matches. All Map Challenges will grant you with Exp points. So if you want to level up quickly, better complete these Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3 Challenges as fast as you could.

fortnite chapter 2 season 3 challengesAquaman Challenges

Like Deadpool, Aquaman comes with his own weekly challenge. The Aquaman skin is probably one of the highly anticipated battle pass skins for this new season. To obtain Aquaman skin, you must purchase the Battle Pass for Season 3 and complete all the Five Aquaman challenges. This serves as one of the most exciting Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3 Challenges so far. Unlike Deadpool’s weekly challenge that was extended up to Week 12, Aquaman challenges will only require five weeks to obtain his first epic Skin.  However, unlike Deadpool, Aquaman Challenges are way more tricky to complete. The challenges will require you to enter the match and perform various tasks.

So far, we are on Week 2 Aquaman Challenge. The first week simply requires you to use the whirlpool at the Fortilla. The second week challenge, however, requires players to ride on Sharks at Sweaty Sands. To do so, you need to catch the shark using the fishing rod. It requires a little mastery to complete this challenge. The Arthur Curry skin, on the other hand, can be unlocked by simply jumping at the Gorgeous George Waterfall while wearing Aquaman Skin (it means that you need to complete all the Aquaman challenges first).

fortnite chapter 2 season 3 challengesStyle Challenges

Last season, there are Agent Challenges that you need to complete to unlock either the Shadow or Ghost skin style for each Battle Pass character. This season, the counterpart of the Agent Challenges are the Style challenges. Each Battle Pass skin comes with multiple skin variants and you no longer need to pick one because all of them are freely accessible once you have completed their respective challenges. Some of the Style Challenges will only ask you to reach certain Battle Pass levels but others will ask you to complete weekly challenges. That brings us back to our first entry on this list and how weekly challenges play a crucial role for this season. Definitely one of the Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3 Challenges you should not miss!

fortnite chapter 2 season 3 challengesBuild-A-Brella Challenge

The Build-A-Brella challenge is somehow the counterpart of the Maya Challenges from Season 2. The umbrella glider comes with ten customizable parts and each part comes with a challenge. Players can initially use the Brella glider but the style will gradually change as you progress. Unlike the Maya Challenges, however, the Build-A-Brella challenge doesn’t require players to perform any tasks during the match. Instead, all you need is to reach certain Battle Pass Levels to unlock each part. All the parts will be completed after you have reached Battle Pass Level 100. Each part comes with multiple variants but you can only pick one and it will be applied permanently. This may not be as challenging as the other Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3 Challenges but still worth exploring.

fortnite chapter 2 season 3 challengesLocal Challenges

Just like the previous season, Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3 comes with Local Challenges. Unlike the Weekly Map Challenges that you can access from the Battle Pass Hub, the Local Challenges can only be revealed once you have entered the specific landmark. You can spot Local challenges when entering The Fortilla and other identified locations for this season. The rewards for completing these local challenges may not be as generous as other Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3 Challenges but still worth exploring. There is also a possibility to encounter secret challenges much like the Teddy Bear and Gnomes side story from Season 2. We have also spotted some interactable items on the map that are not part of any weekly challenges. They might play a huge role soon.

fortnite chapter 2 season 3 challengesQuick Challenges/ Punch Cards

Quick Challenges are the repeatable challenges that you can complete either on a single or multiple matches. It is more likely a replacement for the Season 2 badges. These Quick Challenges will grant you with a generous amount of XP points that allows you to level up faster. The introduction of Punch Cards for this season is also worth mentioning. These collectible punch cards may not grant you with any rewards but discovering all the 49 punch cards for this season will surely provide a satisfying Fortnite gaming experience. How many do you think you can unlock?
