The Gameplay

Interestingly, the mechanics for Block Puzzle Blossom are simple and easily manageable. If you have experienced playing the classic block puzzle game, then you should know how the game works. Block Puzzle Blossom managed to capture everything we enjoyed from a classic block puzzle challenge. As mentioned above, the goal is to get the highest score. To get a score, you simply have to create a full straight line on the board which can either be aligned horizontally or vertically on the grid. As soon as the game starts, it prompts you right away to a standard 8×8 Grid screen.

Located below the garden-like board is a separate panel featuring three randomly generated puzzle pieces. These puzzle pieces will only arrive in batch so if you must place all the previous puzzle pieces on the board first before getting a new batch. Much like a classic block puzzle, you must refrain the board from running out of space, otherwise, the game will come to a quick end and you have no other option but to start the game back from the very beginning. Occasionally, you’ll encounter Watering Cans which allows you to eliminate a pile of blocks in exchange for watching a reward video.

Block Puzzle Blossom is definitely a flower power puzzle indeed. The game, in general, is an absolute visual treat. Block Puzzle Blossom comes with a stunning and user-friendly interface adorned with luscious greens and colorful flowers. Unlike the classic block puzzle that usually features a simple grid screen, this game showcases a garden-like theme. It is wonderfully adorned with leaves and flowers. The most interesting highlight, however, is the flower pieces themselves. Although they are also shaped like the classic Tetrominoes, these flower pieces made this game an absolute visual delight.

Take note that these are not just well-drawn flowers but they are also interactive. When the flowers are not yet placed on the board, they are temporarily folded but when you start dragging and dropping them on the grid, they will wonderfully blossom. Creating a straight line comes with a beautiful effect too as the flowers will go on their full-blossom stage. On top of its wonderful visuals, the game is also complemented with a piece of relaxing music and audio effect which makes the game even more enjoyable.

Rotate and Revive

Another interesting feature of Block Puzzle Blossom is the ability to rotate the puzzle pieces. Every time you managed to create a full straight line on the board, you are filling up the rotate meter located on the lower-left corner of the game screen. Once you have earned enough, you can finally obtain the ability to rotate a single tile. Interestingly, you can also obtain a Rotate ability by simply watching a reward video. Speaking of which, you can also revive your puzzle by watching an advert. The ads in this game are cleverly inputted and players can take advantage of them to the full extent.

As far as the scoring system is concerned, the game records your personal best score which gives Block Puzzle Blossom a decent replay value.
