Much like a classic block puzzle game, the main objective of TetroCrate is to get the highest score as possible. To do so, you simply need to drag and drop the 3D puzzle pieces on the board and create as many straight lines as possible. The Gameplay

TetroCrate generally captures the same classic block puzzle gameplay. The mechanics for this game are generally simple and easily manageable. As what mentioned above, the main goal of this game is to get the highest score as possible. Much like the classic block puzzle, you earn a score in this game by creating full straight lines that could either be aligned vertically or horizontally on the board. Simply drag and drop the puzzle pieces on the board and arrange them strategically while keeping enough space for the succeeding puzzle piece.

Be mindful that your game will come to a quick end if you can no longer fit the puzzle pieces on the board. Despite this game’s apparent simplicity, players are still encouraged to visualize the puzzle carefully and try to establish the most effective strategy to keep you in the game. The game also comes with other unique features. Instead of getting a batch of three puzzle pieces, the tiles will arrive one after another. You can also swap the current tile to the next tile and decide which of them fits well on the board. Like most block puzzles, the more lines you create in one move, the bigger the score you will get.

Incredible 3D Puzzle

Possibly the best highlight of TetroCrate that makes it distinctive above the rest is the incredible 3D interface. The game is an absolute visual delight due to its remarkable 3D atmosphere. As soon as the game starts, it prompts you right away to a 3D board. It is generally a 10×10 3D board with interchangeable themes. Located above the board is the Current and next puzzle pieces. Simply drag and drop the puzzle pieces and hover them on top of the board. To place them, just tap the puzzle piece again to secure them on the board.

If you are playing the Revolver campaign, the game will allow you to rotate the puzzle piece. To do so, simply swipe the tile in whatever direction you wish to. It is also interesting to note that the rate of difficulty will drastically increase in this game as you progress. The game comes with a level system. Once you have reached a certain score, the game will take you to a new level which will introduce new puzzle pieces. The more new puzzle pieces you have, the more challenging for you to fit them in.

Pick Your Campaign

Interestingly, TetroCrate comes with two major campaigns; the Revolver and the Challenge Campaign. Revolver campaign will encourage players to get the highest score as possible. You do so by clearing as many lines as possible. The only thing that makes this game special is the player’s ability to rotate tiles. You do not need to collect Stars or anything alike just to earn a rotate. You can literally rotate any tiles you want and position them on the board based on your own preferences.

Challenge Campaign, as what the title suggests, is relatively more challenging than Revolver. In this campaign, you are no longer allowed to rotate tiles. You must strategically position them on the board and try not to run out of space. Good thing, you can still swap the current tile to the next tile which allows you to come up with a more effective strategy. The game also features both Leaderboard and Achievement systems through Google Play Store. You must grant this game access to your Google account to access the leaderboard and compete with other players online.

The Verdict

TetroCrate is truly a game-changer. It is very rare to see a 3D block puzzle game and TetroCrate managed to deliver. Appearance-wise, TetroCrate is indeed a visual delight. The 3D graphics make this game more enjoyable and special than other games that fall into the same category. You can also customize the theme by heading over to the Settings and by selecting your preferred Color Scheme. Players can also customize the Rotation and Animation effects. It is also interesting to mention that the game works well even without an Internet connection.
