The Gameplay

Despite the apparent simplicity, players are still strongly encouraged to establish an effective strategy to win all the challenge, otherwise, you might find yourself exploring the same level over and over. Walk Master is generally a physics-based action game and it’s also unique of its kind. As mentioned above, the objective is to help your character reach the finish line without falling onto the ground or without breaking your stilts.

The game control is what makes Walk Master a little bit tricky. Since you are walking with two poles or stilts, you must keep your balance perfectly to prevent the character from falling. What makes it even more challenging is the fact that you are only using one finger to control everything. You advance on the side-scrolling map by simply tapping the screen. The poles will advance in an alternate manner and you can manipulate the distance between the two. It is all up to you if you want to stretch the poles wide or you if you have to make the steps small depending on the obstacles you need to overcome.

You can unlock a new character using the virtual gold coins that you collect every time you completed a trail. Most characters are worth 200 coins or you can also randomly unlock a character with lesser price. To top it all, you can also customize your character by purchasing new accessories. Walk Master, however, is not really generous with their rewards but they cleverly give an option to players to watch reward videos to double up their earnings.

Explore Challenges

Aside from the main campaign, Walk Master also features Challenges. These are special-made levels that are far more challenging than the average level. Interestingly, the challenge can only be accessed upon reaching certain levels. Generally, there are 13 challenges to complete and you can access one for every 10 completed levels or trails. These levels are notably much longer than the typical ones. Completing each challenge allows you to earn a medal.

The rate of difficulty will drastically increase as you progress. You will be introduced to an even more challenging set of obstacles. Some of which includes deadly spikes, moving platforms, floating logs, bees, monkeys, lava and many more. Mastery plays a crucial role in this game to maximize your chances of winning.
